The boy held his gaze firmly waiting it out. Finally his teacher pointed to the door and both students walked out slowly knowing they had lost, but not before Taemin could give his teacher a flick of his fingers “fuck you” he mouthed and shut the door quickly behind him.

Taemin had gotten in a fight with one of the other boys and as much as Minho knew the kid was an ass he couldn’t allow Taemin to get away with stuff like that. Taemin had been pushing it in all his classes lately. Asking for extensions he didn’t need, making comments not quite under his breath, the once very quiet boy was starting to realize just how much power he had over others. He didn’t quite understand how it worked yet but that was why he kept pressing boundaries, to see just how far his big doe like eyes could take him.

Twenty minutes later the door to the classroom opened but no one walked through. The class held their breath waiting to see the two boys walk back in but a giggle came from behind the door as a skirt swished through the classroom. “Teacher may I enter?” Taemin stood in the doorway in a girl’s uniform that fit him far too well despite it being far past his knees. The boys had ruined their uniforms in the scuffle and as punishment were given the school’s old girls uniforms. While the other boy seemed embarrassed Taemin seemed all too pleased.

The girls cooed at his cute little figure and Taemin snickered at his teacher’s dismayed expression. “Take your seats boys.”

Taemin fluttered his eyelashes as he walked past the rows of desks and the girls almost lost it as he smiled up from behind long honey colored bangs. Minho sighed snapping his fingers taking control of the classroom once more. Minho had always been the teacher with the most authority in the school despite his younger age. It could have been his height, or his deep voice, but either way there was a reason Taemin was placed in Minho’s class. Minho was the only one with a chance at controlling him.

The rest of the class went relatively smoothly but when the bell rang the girls all flocked to Taemin bursting into a gossiping frenzy around him. As he led his pose out of the classroom he saw Minho giving him a disapproving look. Taemin seemed slightly uncomfortable at the idea that even one person had the capability to NOT find him cute. But he quickly readjusted and gave his teacher a mischievous wink as he left the classroom.

Minho sighed as he put on his glasses to grade papers. He worked until it was much too late but no one was waiting for him at home so he felt more comfortable working.

He walked through the darkened hallways ready to head home and sleep when he heard laughing echoing from around the corner. He turned to see several girls clinging to Taemin as they pushed him into the girl’s bathroom, Taemin still wearing that ridiculous uniform.

He quickly followed them into the bathroom and the girls gasped immediately ashamed, one even looking like she might cry. “It’s after hours.” He said simply. It was a serious offensive to be on campus after it was closed down to students because of recent vandalizing problems and the girls hung their heads mumbling apologies and begging not to be reported. Minho simply pointed to the door, “Leave.”

The girls ran out quickly but Taemin stayed pressed against the sinks looking surprised with his mouth slightly open. He stared at his teacher seeming like he was waiting for something. “Did you not hear me?” Minho asked him taking a step forward. Taemin shook his head slowly.

“I said leave.” He repeated.

“No.” The word was clear but Taemin didn’t seem confident in his rebellion anymore. He stayed put however and refused to lower his gaze from his teachers.

“What do you want Taemin?” Minho’s brows furrowed trying to figure out what this boy wanted from him exactly. Was this just a test of power? What was this boy searching for? Why did he think pushing Minho was going to help him get it?

Taemin shook his head again.

“It’s what you want.” His words were even but his breath wasn’t.

Minho’s eyes widened unsure what was happening, this all felt surreal and yet he was being sucked in. He should just report Taemin instead of pushing this further but he couldn’t resist this boy’s pull.

Taemin was stepping closer to Minho now, looking up into his teacher’s dark eyes. His face had matured but his lips were still plush, soft, pale, pink. His cheeks slightly rounded. Taemin flinched as Minho’s glasses cut his cheek accidently and Minho pulled back taking them off and placing them on the counter. D GRAY MAN

The D.Gray-man anime and manga series features a diverse cast of characters created by Katsura Hoshino. The series is set on a fictional Earth at the end of a 19th century where the Black Order wages war against the Millennium Earl who intends to destroy humanity with his army of akuma, weapons created from the souls of the deceased when their loved ones curse God for their loss. To aid in their efforts, the Black Order scours the world for the 109 pieces of a divine substance called Innocence, which has been washed away during the Great Flood, and for people who can use anti-akuma weapons, the Innocence in its weaponized form. These people, called Exorcists, are able to effectively fight against and destroy the akuma. One Innocence, referred to as the "Great Heart" will assure their victory. However, the Earl is also looking for the Innocence and the Heart with the intent to destroy them.

The main character of the series is Allen Walker, a young Exorcist who recently joined the Black Order after training with his master General Cross Marian. When presenting himself to the organization, he is mistaken for an enemy and is attacked by another Exorcist, Yu Kanda. However, once the mistake is realized, Lenaho Lee prevents Kanda from causing further mishap. Once inside the headquarters, Allen learns he is the prophesied "Destroyer of Time" who is the only one who can defeat the Millennium Earl. As the series progresses, Allen meets many of the members of the Black Order headquarters as well as those in other branches worldwide. He eventually meets a young, aspiring bookman called Lavi and his predecessor Bookman, who follow Allen on his adventures to witness and record the events for the bookman's record. Allen also encounters the antagonist the Millennium Earl, his akuma army, and the Noah Family, a group of humans who aid the Earl in his plot to destroy humanity

Allen Walker (アレン・ウォーカー, Aren Wōkā^?) is a soft-spoken and warm-hearted 15-year-old Exorcist of British origin and the main protagonist of the series.^[12] Allen was abandoned by his biological parents and at the age of seven, he was adopted by Mana Walker. After Mana died, Allen turned him into an akuma, hoping him to be fully resurrected. Instead, Mana cursed Allen, slicing his left eye which gave him the ability to detect disguised akuma.^[13] It was at this same moment that Allen's left arm first awoke as an anti-Akuma weapon and instinctively destroyed the Akuma. He was later found by Cross Marian and trained as his disciple for five years, before he was sent to the Black Order headquarters to become an official Exorcist.^[13][14] His parasite-type anti-akuma weapon is the Crowned Clown (クラウン・クラウン, Kuraun Kuraun^?), which takes the form of a disk of energy and a giant claw.^[15] Later on, it is able to change the disk to a fur shawl and additionally produce a large sword from Allen's left arm, resembling the sword the Earl uses.^[16][17] Recently, allegations have arisen against Allen especially Malcolm Rouvelier, as the successor to the 14th Noah.^[18][19] Despite this discovery, Allen remains devoted to fighting with the consciousness of the 14th, and save as many Akuma as he can. He is voiced by Sanae Kobayashi in Japanese and Todd Haberkorn in English.^[20]

^{Yu Kanda (神田 ユウ, Kanda Yū?) is a cold 18-year-old Exorcist from Japan. He is the first Exorcist that Allen meets at the Black Order headquarters; since then, they have an ongoing rivalry toward each other which often causes them to throw insults and offensive statements towards each other.[22][23] He is a disciple of General Tiedoll and hates the fatherly way the man treats him.[24] He is a Second Exorcist, a type of Exorcist created in the Synthetic Disciple Project Central forced onto the Chan and Epstein families nine years ago. Because of this, he can see lotus flowers blooming wherever he goes. As a child, there was only one and he was told that it was an illusion. Since then, the flowers have multiplied. In the anime adaption, the lotus flower is in an hourglass and is connected with his lifespan. As he approaches death, the flower loses its petals.[25] He can recover much more quickly than ordinary humans due to a mysterious tattoo above his heart.[26] Kanda cannot die until he finds "a certain person".[27] Originally forged by Zhu Chan, his anti-akuma weapon Mugen (六幻, Six Illusions?) is an Innocence that originally took the form of a sleek chokuto and is later reforged as a katana. Mugen is capable of unleashing several techniques dubbed "illusions".[28] He is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai in Japanese and Travis Willingham in English.[29][30]}

^{Lavi (ラビ, Rabi?) is a cheerful 18-year old, red-haired Exorcist of mixed race. He aims to become a Bookman, a person who records the hidden history of the world and has been trained from a young age to achieve that goal.[40] Lavi is the 49th alias he assumed after casting away his real name to reach it.[41] He works along the Black Order just to be close to the events that must be seen and slowly becomes more attached to his Black Order friends and his original Bookman self is constantly being clouded by his growing care.[41][42] His anti-akuma weapon, simply named Tettsui (鉄槌, Iron Hammer?) and referred to as Ōzuchi Kozuchi (大槌小槌, Big Hammer, Little Hammer?),is capable of growing and extending to undefined sizes and lengths.[40][43][44] Although this affects its weight, it does not affect Lavi.[45] The weapon allows him to use "seals" that control several elements in nature.[46] He is voiced by Kenichi Suzumura in Japanese and in english, he is voiced by Jason Liebrecht from episodes 13 to 26, episode 40 and on, and Chris Patton in episode 27 to 39.[47][48]}

The Noah Family

The Noah Family (ノアの一族, Noa no ichizoku^?) consists of thirteen human descendants of Noah who have inherited his genes.^[49][50] A Noah can be identified by a gray skin tone, yellow/gold eyes, and a horizontal line of seven cross-shaped stigmata referred to as holy marks. Like akuma creatures, they base their powers off dark matter, the opposite of Innocence, and as such are vulnerable to Innocence.^[51] The Noah share an inborn drive to kill Exorcists, but otherwise possess unique will and mindsets. "Carved" on their genes is a memory of Noah different from any member in their generation and possess a supernatural ability.^[50] They claim to be immortal, but this is proven to be an exaggeration after Yu Kanda kills the Noah Skin Bolic. However, the Noah are able to reincarnate back to the world in a different body. The members' true names are Adam, Tryde (裁, Toraido^?), Joyd, Desires, Wisely (智, Waizurī^?), Fiddler (蝕, Fīdora^?), Mercym (恤, Māshīma^?), Wrath, Road, Bondomu, Lustul and Mightra (能, Maitora^?).

The Millennium Earl (千年伯爵, Sennen Hakushaku^?) is the first disciple truly named Adam and is the story's main antagonist and head of the Noah Family. He is a sorcerer from long ago, and he plans to lead the world to its death.^[52] He tricks people who mourn for their dead relatives and friends into resurrecting them, turning them into akuma that he can then control.^[53] The Earl resembles a grotesque caricature of a Victorian gentleman, a rotund figure in cape and top hat, with a perpetual enormous grin and pince-nez spectacles. He has a set of horns under his hat. This is merely the form he displays out in the open, however, as his true form looks more like a human wearing a cape and hat. Despite his intentions, he often displays a cheerful attitude, though in his true Noah form, he comes across as more confident and malicious. He is also shown to have a human form. It is also implied that he has been "hearing" the 14th's voice, and has either a vision of him, or briefly remembers him, telling the Earl that he "shouldn't push himself" and that "[the 14th] will be by [the Earl's] side no matter what". He is able to control Noah's Ark and has created a new one, intending to discard the old one when it falls into the possession of the Black Order.^[24][54] The Earl has recently begun a campaign of extermination against the Black Order with the other Noahs. Although it seems that destroying the exorcists is his goal, his primary goal is to force Allen Walker, who is slowly transforming into the fourteen Noah, to join him and the other Noahs. He is voiced by Junpei Takiguchi in Japanese and in english, he is voiced by Jason Liebrecht from episodes 1 to 26, episode 40 and on, and Todd Haberkorn from episode 27 to 39.^[21][55]

Road Kamelot (ロード・キャメロット, Rōdo Kyamerotto^?) is the ninth disciple truly named Road (夢, Rōdo^?), who represents the "Dreams" of Noah. Despite her early teens appearance, she is referred to as "oldest" Noah or the "First Child".^[56][57] She is the adopted daughter of Sherrill Kamelot and his wife and she is a niece of Tyki Mikk.^[58] She is gifted with the ability to travel dimensions without using Noah's Ark and has shown some use of complete regeneration, telekinesis, and telepathy.^[59][60] Road is also the only Noah capable of programming Noah's Ark because she is the "oldest".^[57] Road often acts as a normal teenager, but she has shown signs of sadism. Road stated she hates humans early in the series, but grows an attachment to Allen Walker to the point where she kisses him upon meeting him.^[59] She is voiced by Ai Shimizu in Japanese and Cherami Leigh in English.^[61][62]

Tyki Mikk (ティキ・ミック, Tiki Mikku^?) is the third disciple truly named Joyd (快楽, Jieido^?), who represents the "Pleasure" of Noah.^[56] He is the younger brother of Sherrill Kamelot and the uncle of Road Kamelot.^[58] The Earl once mentions that Tyki subconsciously suppresses his Noah. Tyki has two "sides" to his life, one in which he is a care-free, Portuguese vagabond and the other where he is a Noah and seemingly well-known in society.^[38][63] He enjoys living them both, but fears losing the human friends he has.^[40] After Allen Walker's failed attempt to exorcise the Noah, the Noah consumes him.^[64] The holy marks, which have previously disappeared, are replaced by three marks: a large one at the base of his neck and two smaller ones on his hands. His appearance transforms into that of a demonic knight and later, after his human form returns, a gray skin tone remains.^[38] The wounds from the exorcism still continue to hurt him. Tyki has the ability to "choose" what he wants to touch, allowing him to walk on water or air and harmlessly passing through anything, with the exception of Innocence.^[65][66][67] He can also "reject" the atmosphere, creating a vacuum. Tease, man-eating golems in the shape of a butterfly given as a gift from the Earl, obey him.^[65] He is voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa in Japanese and Brad Hawkins in English.^[62][68]

Jasdero (ジャスデロ, Jasudero^?) and David (デビット, Debitto^?) were originally one Noah called Jasdevi (ジャスデビ, Jasudebi^?).^[69] They are the tenth and eleventh disciples truly named Bondomu (絆, Bondomu^?), who represent the "Bonds" of Noah.^[56] They possess the power of Materialization (実現^?), which is used through bullets created by the two thinking simultaneously and then shooting it through an identical pair of guns.^[70] Their Materialization skills also allow them to create numerous objects.^[71][72] By shooting one another, David and Jasdero can merge together and become Jasdevi. They no longer rely on the guns to focus their abilities, instead using bare hands. Jasdevi's long hair also becomes a weapon and gains new strength from the desire to create the "the strongest imagined body".^[73] They are voiced by Saiga Mitsuki and Morikubo Showtaro respectively in Japanese. In english, they are voiced by Joel McDonald and Z. Charles Bolton respectively.^[74]

Skin Bolic (スキン・ボリック, Sukin Borikku^?) is a Noah of American descent.^[40] Three years ago, he "awoke" as a Noah.^[50] He is the eighth disciple truly named Wrath (怒, Rāsura^?) and represents the "Wrath" of Noah, the most potent of all the Noah's memories. It is mentioned that his Noah's memory controlled him.^[56] He is large and has a constant gray skin tone and his holy marks are always visible lining his forehead. After experiencing the Wrath of Noah and the suffering his ancestors felt at the hands of the Innocence, he decided to never forgive the Exorcists or God.^[50] He is killed by Kanda in the Noah's Ark in Edo.^[75] Skin's abilities are lightning based. When using his powers, his skin peels, revealing a spiked, golden layer. Because this golem-like body has a high defense and great physical prowess, he relies on brute strength. Although Skin Bolic was killed, the Noah Genes can be reincarnated into another chosen human. In the latest chapter, the Earl and Noah are planning to find the new incarnation of Wrath as they launch an all out assault on the America branch of the Black Order. ^[76] He is voiced by Kenta Miyake in Japanese and Sonny Strait in English.^[62][77]

Lulu Bell (ルル・ベル, Ruru Beru^?) is a blonde Noah and twelfth disciple truly named Lustul (色, Rasutoru^?), representing the "Lust" (色, Rūpa^?) of Noah.^[78] She appeared early in the anime adaption and later in the manga series. As a Noah, her hair is black and she often appears as a black cat in the anime for spying purposes and retains various cat-like qualities as a human.^[79] She shows complete devotion for the Earl and treats his enemies as her's. Lulu Bell possesses the ability of metamorphosis referred to as the power of "Form" and is not limited to a solid state.^[80] She can also take on the appearance of others.^[80][81] After a failed attempt to infiltrate the Order and retrieve the akuma egg, she reappears briefly in later chapters at the beginning of a battle with Lenaho and the Crow^[58] However, she is seen talking to the Earl and the other Noah at a ball in the anime adaption.^[82] She is voiced by Ogasawara Arisa in Japanese^[79] and Monica Rial in English.

[edit] Sheryl Kamelot

Sheryl Kamelot (シェリル・キャメロット, Sheriru Kyamerotto^?) is the adoptive father of Road Kamelot, the elder brother of Tyki Mikk, and the minister of a country. He stays at his estate with his frail wife, Tricia, whom Tyki said he married only to adopt Road. He apparently has an attachment to Road and Tyki and often dotes on them both. Sheryl manipulates diplomatic situations, allowing him to declare war, which will lead to the creation of more akuma.^[58] Sheryl is similar in appearance to Tyki as he is also tall and has swept-back hair tied in a ponytail. His power seems to be a form of telekinesis, as he is seen crushing his target's limbs without touching them, and manipulating the movements of the Science department team. It is also seen in the manga that Sheryl can also manipulate objects, as he did with the pipes that bound Alma Karma. He is the fourth disciple and is truly named Desires (欲, Dezaiasu^?).

Neah Walker (ネア・ウォー, Nea Wōkā^?), often referred to as The 14th (14番目^?), The Musician or The Player, was the extra member of the Noah Family and the younger brother of Mana Walker.^[19] He was the only member, other than the First Child Road and The Earl, who was able to control the Ark. Before the story's timeline, he gave this power away to a human and ran, betraying the Earl and the Family. He attempted to kill the Earl and to become the new Earl himself, but was killed in return by the Earl personally.^[57][83] Sometime before his death, he told Cross Marian that if Mana was looked after, he would return to him one day.^[19] At some time prior to his death, the 14th chose Allen Walker as his next host. In chapter 198, it was revealed that the 14th Noah is truly named Neah.

The story centers around middle school student Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada, who finds out that he is the heir to the most powerful Mafia family, the Vongola. The current Vongola boss thus sends his most trusted member, the titular character and infant hitman, Reborn, to train the future boss. Tsuna gradually becomes a more confident person and leader, while Reborn slowly recruits members into Tsuna's own Mafia family, which mostly includes Tsuna's schoolmates. Though they encounter new allies in the form of other hitmen and mafiosi, they also attract attention from those who want to annihilate the future boss of the Vongola Family. Enemies such as the Kokuyo Gang, a group of Mafia criminals, and The Varia, an elite team of assassins, prove to be formidable challenges for Tsuna's new "family". When the story later shifts into an alternate future, nine years and ten months later, in which some of the characters are transported into, they have to adapt to a world where every Vongola member, as well as their allies, is being hunted down by a powerful rival family of that era, the Millefiore. The characters transported from the past into this future are joined by adult versions of the ones who have yet to be replaced with their younger selves.

Tsunayoshi Sawada

Tsunayoshi Sawada (沢田 綱吉/ツナ, Sawada Tsunayoshi^?), referred to as Tsuna, is the 14-year-old central character of the series. Because of his severely low self-esteem and lack of talent in any activity, Tsuna is known as "No-Good Tsuna" at his middle school Namimori. After being informed that he is the heir to the Vongola Family, due in part to him being the great-great-great grandson of the first Vongola boss as well as the untimely deaths of the other candidates for the position, he is trained into becoming a mob-boss by the infant Vongola hitman Reborn.^[8] Tsuna is often shot by Reborn with a bullet that increases his physical abilities in order for him to fulfill his regrets. That state is what gradually makes others see him in a better light. For the most part of the series, Tsuna rejects his position and wants nothing to do with the Mafia, however, due to the results of various conflicts involving himself and his friends, his own power matures and he eventually starts embracing his destiny.^[9] He is voiced by Yukari Kokubun in the anime

Hayato Gokudera

Hayato Gokudera (獄寺 隼人, Gokudera Hayato^?) is a 14-year-old transfer student from Italy who was placed in Tsuna's class. Gokudera is a dynamite expert nicknamed "Smokin' Bomb Hayato" (スモーキン・ボム 隼人, Sumōkin Bomu Hayato^?), or "Hurricane Bomb Hayato" in the anime. He keeps various explosives hidden on his body and uses those explosives liberally by lighting them with a cigarette (or several) held in his mouth. Initially, he comes to Japan in order to test Tsuna's strength, and after the latter risks his life to save Gokudera, he devotes himself entirely to Tsuna, having sworn to become his right-hand man. A hot-headed and short-tempered youth, he continuously gets into fights with several of the other characters, especially to those who try to get too close to Tsuna. Despite his personality, he is considered to be a genius, excelling in his academic studies.^[11] He is voiced by Hidekazu Ichinose in the anime.

Takeshi Yamamoto

Takeshi Yamamoto (山本 武, Yamamoto Takeshi^?) is the 14-year-old popular baseball star of Namimori Middle School. Despite his carefree and outgoing personality, he initially has no confidence in doing anything other than baseball, even attempting to commit suicide after sustaining major injury to his arm. After Tsuna reassures him, the two become close friends, and Reborn tries to recruit him into the Vongola Family.^[13] He hardly takes anything seriously, and is usually oblivious to what is truly happening around him, often tricked by Reborn into participating in Mafia-related events because he thinks that they are all just playing a game.^[14] Though he becomes a dedicated and valuable member of Tsuna's family, growing to become a fighter who excels at swordsmanship, he still does not understand the full extent of the situation surrounding the Mafia.^[15] He is voiced by Suguru Inoue in the anime

Lambo

Lambo (ランボ, Ranbo^?) is a cow suit-clad 5-year-old assassin from Italy affiliated with the Bovino ("Bovino" means "bovine" in Italian) Familia. He has a huge afro (which he stores a variety of objects in, such as snacks and weapons) with horns on the sides of his head. Despite being a hitman, he lacks the emotional maturity and discipline that Reborn has and is also very conceited as well as being a crybaby. In order to prove that he is worthy of becoming his own family's boss, he comes to Japan to kill Reborn, though he only proves that he is no match for the Vongola hitman. His main choice of weapons are hand grenades, and his future dream is to rule the world. He also possesses his family's Ten-Year Bazooka, which replaces his present self with another version of himself ten years into the future. The 15-year-old Lambo remains a crybaby, though his good looks make him more charming to others.^[17] His child self is voiced by Junko Takeuchi, while his older self is voiced by Kenjirō Tsuda in the anime

Ryohei Sasagawa

Ryohei Sasagawa (笹川 了平, Sasagawa Ryōhei^?) is the 15-year-old passionate member of the boxing club at Namimori Middle School. He constantly asks others he believe are strong to join his club, most notably Tsuna. In response, Reborn wants to recruit him into Tsuna's family.^[20] Every time he sees Tsuna and his family doing something strange, he gets fired up and always wants to be a part of it. Because of his energetic character, however, he does not understand the full extent of Tsuna's connection with the Mafia, but still does everything that he can to protect him and fights with as much spirit and confidence as the others. Proficient in hand-to-hand combat, his boxing training lead to his peak physical condition. He has a habit of always saying "to the extreme" as a single response or as an ending to his sentences. He is voiced by Hidenobu Kiuchi in the anime.

Kyoya Hibari

Kyoya Hibari (雲雀 恭弥, Hibari Kyōya^?) is the leader of Namimori's Discipline Committee, or Prefects, whose members happen to be a group of delinquents loyal to him despite his lack of care for them. Though he mostly speaks in a calm tone, Hibari is an excellent but violent fighter himself, who uses a pair of tonfa as his primary weapons. Though he uses his status to harass others, he actually has great pride in his school and has a soft side toward animals and I-pin. However, students are not the only ones who fear him, teachers and other town residents know of him as well since he enforces his form of order throughout the entire town. He prefers to be alone, usually beating up those who crowd near him. Despite caring little about the events surrounding Tsuna and his friends, Hibari takes a great interest in Reborn after seeing his abilities, which is reciprocated by Reborn, who wants to recruit him as part of Tsuna's own family.^[22] He is voiced by Takashi Kondo in the anime

Mukuro Rokudo

Mukuro Rokudo (六道 骸, Rokudō Mukuro^?) is a 15-year-old Mafia criminal who escaped from an Italian prison, which held some of the most dangerous Mafia criminals, before he was to be executed. Not long after, he, along with his two subordinates, came to Japan, enrolled in Kokuyo Junior High, and started the Kokuyo Gang, which consists of heinous criminals whom have recently escaped from prison.^[24] Skilled in casting illusions as well as mind control, He attempts to take his revenge on the Mafia by taking over Tsuna's body and using him to wreak havoc. When his plan fails due to Tsuna's interference, he is once again imprisoned. However, later on in the series, after possessing the body of Chrome Dokuro, he takes on a more supportive role for the series' main characters, though still prefers not to associate with them.^[25] He is voiced by Toshinobu Iida in the anime

Giotto (ヂオト^?) is a direct ancestor of Tsuna and the first Vongola boss, having the title of Vongola Primo (ボンゴレI世(プリーモ), Bongore Purīmo^?). He appears various times during the Vongola's fight against the Millefiore, helping Tsuna to increase his powers upon recognizing him as the Vongola's 10th boss. His guardians; Alaude (Cloud), Knuckle (Sun), G (Storm), Ugetsu Asari (Rain), Lampo (Thunder), and Daemon Spade (Mist), all bear similar traits to Tsuna's guardians. In the anime, he is voiced by Daisuke Namikawa.

Reborn (リボーン, Ribōn^?) is the holder of the Yellow pacifier of the Sun. The titular character, Reborn is an infant hitman belonging to the Vongola Family. As the Vongola IX's most trusted member, he becomes Tsuna's home tutor and trains him into becoming a Mafia boss.^[8] Since he is an official Vongola member and is only there to train Tsuna, he is not allowed to directly interfere with most of Tsuna's battles,^[55] though he is allowed to defend against attacks directed solely at him.^[56] His "partner" is a shape-shifting chameleon named Leon (レオン, Reon^?), who usually sits on Reborn's fedora. The bullets used by Reborn are created inside Leon. When Reborn's student is gradually progressing, Leon's tail falls off, his shape-shifting abilities become unstable, and he is no longer able to create bullets. When Leon shape-shifts into a gun, a move Reborn uses is called Chaos Shot, which is a shot that branches off with the sun dying will flame.^[57] After Leon creates special items for the student, he returns to normal.^[58]

No matter how strong the emotion, Reborn always keeps a straight face and handles many situations as calmly as possible.^[59] Reborn often says "Ciaossu" (a mix of the Italian "ciao" and the Japanese "ossu", which is a casual male greeting). He randomly appears dressed as "another person" who no one except Tsuna and Dino recognizes, and seems to see nothing unusual in any of his own behavior.^[60][61]

In the future, Reborn is mentioned to be dead, and in order to avoid the Negative Seven Rays which Byakuran unleashed in the atmosphere in order to slowly kill the Arcobaleno,^[51] the past's Reborn remains in Vongola's underground base and wears a special suit.^[62] He is normally voiced by Neeko in the anime but in his short appearances as an adult, Ken Narita voices him.^[63][64] Born at 13 october 19**
